Technical Deep Dive
Instead of relying on heavy third-party plugins that can bloat your site, we built this as a bespoke ACF block.
Server-Side Logic: Complex math is handled by the server via PHP, keeping the front-end lightweight and fast.
The “Handshake”: Using Vanilla JavaScript and the WordPress AJAX API, the tool delivers real-time results without refreshing the page.
Dual-View Logic: We identified two distinct kitchen workflows “Individual Parts” for traditional prep and “The Scale Method” for pro-level efficiency. The UI adjusts dynamically based on how you work.
Print-Ready Design: Utilising JavaScript, the digital interface transforms into a physical asset. When printed, all web-specific menus and buttons disappear, leaving you with a clean recipe card for the counter.
